Salaamun Alaykum,

Just to inform you, it is stated in the riwayat that the 8th Imams shahadat is on the last day of Safar and not specifically on the 29th. Therefore this year it is tonight (25th February).

The first of Rabi ul Awwal will thus be on the 26th night and the 27th day of February.
This is in accordance to Malaysia.
